mission

my purpose for this blog is to document one of the biggest milestones in my life – moving to another city for the first time.  i was born and raised in boston, attended college and grad school there, and have always had the desire to live in another city and learn another culture and lifestyle.  for whatever reason (or excuse), i never found my way out of boston until now… 9/1/2010

why DC you ask?  well, i don’t have an exact reason why other than after visits here, I loved the city.  it was big enough and small enough at the same time.  it was young, vibrant while exuding a lot of history.  and if i ever needed or wanted to go back home, it’s only an hour flight away.

people always say, you never know where home is until you leave it… so maybe i’ll find my home, maybe i won’t and the journey continues…along the way, i know i’ll meet some cool people and learn a lot about myself.  and for me, that journey is worthwhile.
